At the heart of Trump Turnberry  lies the exquisite The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar. With unrivalled views across the Irish Sea towards the Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran, it offers a serene yet decadent environment to indulge in a traditional Trump Turnberry afternoon tea or an exquisite lunch with deli style sandwiches.

Afternoon Tea has grown in popularity since its inception in the 1920’s and now at Trump Turnberry, increased demand has seen the The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar serving guests this refined experience from 12-5pm, seven days a week. Let our Tea Sommelliers guide you through an extensive selection of teas, all served using a traditional samovar.

Alongside the traditional Afternoon Tea, is the indigenous Hendrick’s Gin Afternoon Tea. This specialty Turnberry blend tea is infused with Hendrick’s gin, served from a china teapot, and comes with the traditional Afternoon Tea stand.
Created in collaboration with Twinings, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar also has a choice of champagne by the glass and a light menu of finger sandwiches and pastries.

A member of the prestigious UK Tea Guild, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar at Trump Turnberry has been awarded the Award of Excellence 2013 for the fourth year running in the Tea Guild’s Top City and Country Hotel Awards – the “Michelin Star” of the tea world.

In the evening, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar becomes a gathering place for guests looking to relax and sample many of the fine ales, spirits and wines on offer at the bar. The bar also features over 250 whiskies, including the Turnberry Blend and the Trump International Golf Links whisky.  An evening menu is also available, serving a selection of hot dishes.

Opening Hours: Morning Lounge Service: 10am – 12 noon, Lunch and Afternoon Tea (Traditional, with Champagne or Hendricks Gin): 12 noon – 5pm, Food Service: 12pm to 11pm, Bar Service 12PM to 11pm
Atmosphere: Lunch and classic afternoon tea in an atmosphere of relaxed refinement
