RENOVATION UPDATE
Clubhouse
Following substantial investment from owners, The Trump Organization, the Trump Turnberry clubhouse has now reopened for business.
After a complete renovation, this luxurious clubhouse offers an extended professional shop which has doubled in size and features the latest Trump Turnberry merchandise and apparel.
For golfers pre or post round, the spacious locker rooms are richly decorated and have been finished to the highest of standards.
A new 19th hole has also been created within the clubhouse. The Duel in the Sun restaurant commands superb views over the closing holes of both Championship courses and serves a varied and delicious menu with fresh ingredients from local suppliers. Featuring a steak and lobster concept, indulge in dishes such as Lobster Mac and Cheese, or tempt your taste buds with mouth-watering meats cooked to perfection in our Josper grill.
Pitch & Putt Closure – 28th September 2015
The new pitch and putt infront of the hotel, created by renowned architect Martin Ebert, will close again 28th September 2015 for further enhancements.
Ailsa Course Closure – 27th September 2015
As part of the proposed resort renovation by owners, the Trump Organization, the Ailsa course will close after play on Sunday 27 September 2015 and is scheduled to reopen in June 2016.

Both the Kintyre course and Arran course will be available for play during the closure period.
Resort – 27th September 2015
An extensive refurbishment programme is underway and the resort will re-launch on 1 June 2016 when the redesigned Open Championship golf course, The Ailsa, will be available for play for the first time.
The detailed and sensitive project requires a partial closure of parts of the Resort commencing 27 September 2015 when improvements to the hotel and Ailsa course are carried out.
During winter 2015/16, the new club house, lodges, spa ocean view bedrooms, the spa and golf academy will be open for business with tee times available to members and guests on the Kintyre, a challenging course which hosted the qualifying for the Troon Open Championship in 2004.

In June 2016, the Trump Turnberry hotel will re-open its doors following an extensive upgrade to world leading standards which includes the lavish refurbishment of the hotel bedrooms.

A babysitting service is available. We recommend that arrangements are made in advance. We will, however, do our utmost to accommodate all requirements.

Photocopying, facsimile, Internet and administration services are available through our Business Centre.
CAR HIRE
Chauffeur-driven and self-drive cars are available by prior arrangement.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation policy will vary based on the rate plan and/or selected date(s). Please see “Rate and Policy Information” when checking availability.
CAR PARKING
Car parking spaces are available around the Hotel, Spa, Clubhouse, Links Golf Academy and Lodges. We would ask that you refrain from parking around the central island within the courtyard or in areas painted with double yellow lines or marked with yellow cones. Our valets will be delighted to park and collect your car for you. Valet parking is complimentary.
CHECK-OUT FOR CHILDREN
This is a partnership between Starwood Hotels & Resorts and UNICEF. The aim is to raise money for UNICEF’s immunisation programmes. Thanks to the generosity of Starwood’s guests, we have enabled more than one million children across the world to be immunised against fatal childhood diseases. The Luxury Collection Hotels and Resorts specifically support malaria prevention work. A £1.00 donation will be automatically added to your room account as a donation to UNICEF. You may opt out of this programme by advising reception at check-out.
CHECK–OUT TIME
Check-out time is 12.00 noon.
You are welcome to enjoy all that the resort has to offer after this time but we ask that you have your belongings ready for the concierge to collect before 12.00 noon. Your baggage will be stored until you are ready to leave. Should you wish to organise a later check-out time, we would be delighted to arrange this for a small additional charge, subject to availability.
CONCIERGE
Our concierge team will be delighted to take care of all the little things that add up to a memorable stay. They know the local area and can assist you with your arrangements for car hire, leisure, local activities and places of interest.
CURRENCY EXCHANGE
Available from reception. Please note that UK law requires us to see a valid passport before any currency exchange can take place.
CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS
Rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel’s control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION FORM
A non-resident wishing to pay for a guest in the resort by credit card must fax a credit card pre-payment authorization to the hotel with the billing address. Due to our privacy policy, we do not accept credit card information via email. Please complete this form in full, sign and fax to our secure fax on +44 (0) 1655 331590.
DOCTOR
Medical assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A call-out fee is charged for visits to the Hotel from the doctor. If the matter is urgent please speak to the manager on duty.
DOGS
Dogs may be brought into the Hotel by prior arrangement and on the understanding that the owner accepts responsibility for the behaviour of the dog and any damage or injury it may cause. In the interest of other guests, dogs are not permitted in the public areas.
DRESS CODE
There is no formal dress code at Turnberry. However, gentlemen may be more comfortable wearing a jacket while dining during the evening in 1906.
EXTRA BEDDING
Extra beds are available upon request, for an additional charge of £30. Cots for children under the age of 2 are provided upon request free of charge. Please contact the hotel for more information.
FAX SERVICE
To send a facsimile, or for information and prices of our Business Centre facilities, please visit reception or select the Guest Services button on your telephone. Unless otherwise requested, incoming facsimiles will be delivered upon receipt to guest’s room or suite in sealed envelopes. The main hotel fax number is + 44 (0) 1655 331706.
INTERNET ACCESS
Turnberry Resort is delighted to offer complimentary internet access in all rooms and public areas at the resort. For those travelling without a laptop, a tailored version of Internet Explorer is available through the television. An infrared keyboard is provided.

We offer a full laundry, dry cleaning and pressing service. Same day service is available seven days a week:

MAIL
Any personal mail delivered to the Hotel prior to arrival is passed to you upon check-in. Mail arriving after you have arrived and checked-in is delivered to your room or suite on the day it is received at the Hotel. Outgoing mail and postcards are collected from the post box in the lobby at 8.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday inclusive. On Saturday there is a collection at 8.00am. Postage stamps are available from concierge.
MOVIES AND MUSIC ON DEMAND
An on-demand movie and music services are available through the menu on the television.
NEWSPAPERS
Guests receive one complimentary local newspaper each morning from Monday to Saturday inclusive. For other daily and Sunday newspapers, please contact the Concierge. We will be pleased to take your order and have your chosen newspapers delivered to your room.
‘NEWSPAPER DIRECT’
Through services provided by Newspaper Direct, you can choose from a vast range of over 600 newspapers and magazines from 77 countries. Please contact the Concierge to request a same-day printed version of your preferred newspaper or magazine.
SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES
Safe deposit boxes are available in all rooms. Additional boxes are also located at reception.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
A complimentary shuttle service around the resort is available as per request.
SMOKING POLICY
Due to the United Kingdom’s smoking ban, all rooms and public areas of the hotel are non-smoking.

TEA & COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES
You will find a hospitality tray in the refreshment centre cabinet.
TURNDOWN SERVICE

VALUABLES
In accordance with the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, we cannot be held responsible for any items left in guest rooms. All articles of value should be locked in your room safe or deposited in the safe deposit box at Reception.
VEHICLES
Turnberry will not be held responsible for any vehicles, or the contents thereof, left outside, either on or off premises belonging to the Hotel. Our staff have instructions to give all possible assistance to guests to ensure the safety of their vehicles and contents, but we cannot, in any circumstances, accept liability in respect thereof.
