Where is it? Turnberry Adventures is located adjacent to and north of the self catering facility, Lands of Turnberry. From the front of the hotel it is a 10 minute walk, view a map of Turnberry Adventures. The Resort’s Concierge will also provide you a confirmation card which incorporates a map. There are also a selection of sign posts that will show you the way. What days are you open? Turnberry Adventures operates on selected days throughout the year*: 2015 January – group bookings only February – 7,8 & 14,15 & 21,22 & 28 March – Saturdays & Sundays April – 3-19 & 25,26 May – Friday, Saturday, Sunday & 4,5 June – Friday, Saturday, Sunday July – 7 days a week August – 7 days a week September – Friday, Saturday, Sunday October – Saturday & Sunday & 12-16 November – group bookings only December – group bookings only What is included in the price? - Helmets and safety wear as well as all activity equipment are provided

Where and when do I register for the activities? Monday – Friday: Turnberry Adventures – The Gate House Saturday and Sunday: Turnberry Adventures – The Hub Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your activity start time. This allows time to complete the registration forms and be provided with the equipment you need. In the case of late arrivals, Turnberry Adventures will strive to proceed at a later time or reschedule if there is availability, however, remains the right to cancel the session or reduce the duration of the session without a refund if there are no alternatives. How young can I be? Some activities have age restrictions so please check this against the activity description. Is it safe? Safety is of paramount importance to us and we operate to exacting standards complying to risk assessments, using experienced and qualified instructors on well-maintained equipment. What about First Aid? At least one of your instructors will be St Andrews HSE First Aid Qualified with a full first aid kit available. Are you insured? We are covered by public liability insurance for up to £10m. You should however check your own insurance for personal accident. What should I wear? Comfortable outdoor clothes are recommended with walking shoes, boots or trainers. If it is cold, wear lots of layers and bring a hat and some gloves. What if the weather is poor? 4×4, Archery and Air Rifles are “all weather” where you are fully protected from the elements. Our clay shooting ground has a small log cabin for shelter and the shooting butts are covered. For all other activities, we can provide water proof jackets and trousers.
